Hardcore Chibis

I finally did something else related to the Hardcore series! ... I say this is related to the Hardcore series! And related to the first two seasons.

I've actually been working on this since I think last month of last November. So a while. But with other projects and some problems I had with deciding what to do with coloring and adding stuff, I couldn't finish it completely. Except now I'm done!

I'm actually pretty glad with how this came. Praticularly since this is the first time I've done chibis and showed you guys (at last).

I wanted to form my own chibi style after a little sort of derp conversation between me and last year in art class when we were talking about chibis and seeing one of my friends draw chibis of other people in our art class. She tried to do her own chibi style and then while I was in class during English (I think) I decided to try and form my own style.

From what I understand about chibis, they're cute little things. Usually with big eyes. And small.

I do imagine they'd be kinda small... I started with a few things and then I decided that I wanted to do chibis of the guys from the Hardcore series. And kinda dressed up in whatever sort of costumes/clothes from both Minecraft and DayZ Hardcore. Minus the headphones in DayZ Hardcore. I thought there were actually headphones for the characters in DayZ... I'm stupid ._.

For the Minecraft Hardcore guys, I tried to do something/give an item that kinda fitted during the playthrough. And DayZ? Well... I put what fit best. Or sorta fit best.

I have done more detail to PBG. Speaking of which, I really like how the chibis for both Minecraft and Hardcore came out. I'm always giving PBG a Diamond Sword. And we all know why. I think he looks really cute as a chibi with that Diamond Sword of his. Doesn't he look cute? DayZ is mostly because he was really scared. So I gave him a bit of a scared expression.

Now with JonTron. He's once again Donald Duck/Jonald Duck and has some cobblestone to reveal how he likes to build. And he used cobblestone for that castle of his. So why not? I think it came out pretty good. And look, some good detail to the cobblestone. Yaaay. He's angry with his DayZ pose because he was a bit angry with them at one point. When Dean said he'd meet Jon at Balota but ended up leaving because of the number of zombies (I think) in Balota.

Moving on to Dean. It was fun doing these ones as well (By the way, this is probably the last time you'll see that hairstyle for Dean). I gave Dean a Diamond Pickaxe because I thought it would fit best. He's shown he likes mining (and adventure) and when he found diamond, he crafted it into a Diamond Pickaxe rather than a Diamond Sword. Why? I don't know. Probably wanted one since McJones had one. But that's just a guess. As for the DayZ one, he's only happy like that because I imagine he's probably saying that one part when he's running from Balota to meet up with Barry. You know, that part with PBG in a zombie movie.

Next is McJones. I honestly liked doing the Minecraft chibi the most. He looks cute with the little confused look and holding onto his map like that I think this one's my favorite at least among the Minecraft Hardcore ones. It was fun to do. And look, I gotted better at drawing Master Yi's costume/clothes/whatever. I think it's pretty straightforward as to why he has a map. As for DayZ Hardcore, it was kinda hard to think of something because of what happened in the season, except I managed to come through with it. As you can see, he still looks a bit confused because he still hadn't managed to gain his sense of direction. So that's what he's doing. Trying to get his sense of direction.

And finally (in terms of the main cast) is Barry. The reason he has a bow is mostly inspired from this picture: fav.me/d5g7lx1 I like doing this one because he's regularly a happy guy. Then for DayZ, I drew him with a worried look because he's bleeding at the leg. ... I REALLY hope there are no unfortunate implications with this... And because JonTron put a picture of Barry in real life, I managed to use that. And make it look better. Yeah.

Finally, it's the special guests. The one guy dressed as Zero is the Completionist/Jirard "Dragonrider" Khalil. First time drawing Zero (I hate drawing Megaman characters because of how much detail is needed and how hard it can be...) or at least Zero's design/whatever. I like how this came out. And yes, I am using the same "AFK" joke that has been used a few times. Because I'm just so original like that. Next to Jirard is Soah as Jim Raynor. Jim Raynor's costume was interesting to do (and I forgot to add something when drawing this... Shoot ._.) This is also my first time attempting Soah without the sunglasses. So I kinda guessed at the eye color. Again. ... Yaaaaay I'm a smart person...

Next to the special guests from Minecraft Hardcore are the special guests from DayZ Hardcore, RubberRoss and ProJared or just Ross and Jared! I like drawing Ross for some reason. I think it's the hair. I drew him angry because he does not like DayZ at all, did not like how the controls worked for him at all and did not like how bad the controls were. But it's kinda cute He has a glowstick because during the third part of DayZ, he had a gun but for some reason, he kept throwing glowsticks rather than shooting his gun so he wasn't very happy with that as you can see. Next to him is Jared. He's the only one who managed to find some sort of useful weapon (he actually did find a crossbow but abandoned it because he had no bullets). He found a hatchet so I drew that and I drew him a bit confused as to why Ross is somehow throwing glowsticks. I had fun drawing in these two.

So that's all the stuff I have to explain.

In case anyone is wondering/caring, I am going to be doing chibis for the third season too. Just not now since I'm still thinking of possibilities to interpretate the male's clothing in the game they are currently doing.
